In Love as in Nature

Bet you can't tell yet, but here is another one of my first few attempts as poetry.  I was 15 when I wrote it and I was basically discovering that part of life adolescent life that is learning how to attract the opposite sex.  I was honing my skills on the hunt, but you know us poets..... We're usually the ones who get hooked when we set our sights on a particular girl.
Though I would focus on one at a time, believe it or not, I actually had quite the little black book of numbers by the time I was 15, and it was these Teeny-Bopper verses that helped a lot.

In Love as in Nature
To see Love in Nature's
Great beauty and art
You must first use your eyes
Then look through your heart

The beautiful Sunset
Red, Crimson and Gold
To People together
Love's Passion takes hold

Those tall Mountain peaks
So Graceful and high
Two hearts become one
Real Love is no lie

In Love as in Nature
Some seasons are grey
You can't quite give up
You shouldn't run away

For once you have hold
Of someone you cherish
Then look through your heart
And Love will not perish

LIFE

I've decided to use this forum to post my Poetry from my very first poem I ever wrote to the latest ones.
Poetry has been my way of self expression and emotional venting since adolescence.  So there are some that are dark and some that are odd, and out there, and some that just make no sense at all, accept to me.

I wrote this one a little while after the first one in my last post.  It was written during one of many sleepless nights when I could'nt turn my mind off enough to go to sleep.
Most of my poetry is written on nights like that.  So here it is, my second ever poem, I called it simply, "Life".
FYI, not all my poetry is this up-beat.  Poetry is a very personal expression of one's feelings about things at the time so as you'll soon see, I was a Love sick, thoughtful, and often very depressed teenager.

LIFE
You live your life through
Just day by day
Facing life's troubles
To solve them some way

But then when those troubles
Start bringing you down
If you don't take control
In life you can drown

Talking to someone
That's one thing to do
It's good to have friends
Who will listen to you

But then there's those friends
Who don't seem to hear
You want understanding
Not answers to fear

For though people's problems
May all seem the same
To each different person
It's all their own game

understanding advice
Is good just to give
But it's you who decides
Just how you will live

It's you who decides
Just who you will Love
And it's you who decides
Just who you will shove

You make your own choices
On what you will do
Throughout your whole life
It's all up to you
It's true there are times
When it seems there's no choice
But you choose what to say
When you use your own voice

To learn to live happy
Is the ultimate goal
Life's like a big play
So now choose your role

If you deal with each problem
With these thoughts in mind
You'll find in the end
That Life could be kind
